Teddy Bears

I am currently watching the show Ultimate Fighter with my brother. I love the show. I have never watched an MMA fight until now. I was expecting most, if not all, of the guys on this show to be really macho and tough men. This couldn't be farther from the truth. Of all the guys that the audience has gotten to get to know have all been huge softies.

One man stated crying after he won a fight because he missed his little girl. He wanted her picture in his corner while he fought because seeing her picture would help him to concentrate. When he stated to cry, to quote me exactly, "DAWWWWW!" Even the coaches are incredibly sweet. Brock Lesnar and Junior dos Santos, the two coaches, are both extremely nice. If the first episode Myles Jury tore his ACL. This meant he had to leave the show and nurse his injured knee. When he got the news Lesnar was so nice about the whole thing. It is hard to describe without you watching the show. I recommend this show to almost anyone.

Now I officially have a thing for MMA fighters. I find them adorable.

  1. I am "aw" ing and laughing at the same time. Not ridiculing laughter, of course, for that does not fit the situation. DEFEATING GENDER STEREOTYPES, WHOO. It's like...two opposite extremes meet. WWE isn't like this...probably because "it's fake." Every Friday at 7 on CW, man...every Friday.

    This was cute :)

  2. I might have to watch. My little brother likes watching "WWE RAW!!!" and his friend likes watching the girl version. Where they wear practically no clothes and 'fight'. It's disgusting. Maybe I'll try to switch him to watching this.

  3. Heh, I remember I was on a trip once and we watched midget wrestling. I felt bad about it afterwards, though, because I felt that they were being exploited. This is our society.

    ANYWAY
Your blog makes me smile a lot.

  4. @sarah @blaisanThis fighting is less dramatic than WWE, but it is real and they guys get real cuts and bruises during the fights. It's really intense.
@kelsey is it sad that I would find midget wrestling adorable?
