Craig Ferguson

Words can't express my love for this man. If you watch his show, then you know what I mean. He is funny, attractive, and just all around awesome. Well, he also has a fucking robot skeleton. Do you have a robot skeleton? I didn't think so.
Does your Roomba do that?

This man comes on late on weeknights. This means I have to say up and get less precious sleep. When you are a sophomore year girl you need all the sleep you can get. Alas, I don't get to watch near as often as I want to. Damn you sexy man with a robot! Why do you make me loose sleep over you?
Did I also mention he has a fucking horse?
HE ALSO HAS A SCOTTISH ACCENT! He is the epitome of sex god. I will now leave more pictures to let you gaze at the beauty.
Haters gonna hate.
Put the lotion in the basket.
Break me off a piece of THAT!
HELL YEAH YOU WILL!

I Can Stop Whenever I Want

My relationship with coffee and caffeine in general is a love hate relationship. Well, not really. It is more of love and love and more love, but other people say he is no good for me. I am just going to say this bluntly. I am addicted to caffeine, and I'm 16. I think I have a problem. My main issue is with coffee. I have writers block, so here are pictures related to my caffeine/coffee things. I also love Red Bull. I had the 20 ounce size a few days ago. Here is the amount of caffeine in this stuff 80 mg/250 ml. I did the math (probably not correct) and that is about 193 mg of caffeine in my one 20 ounce can of Red Bull. I am pathetic.

Teddy Bears

I am currently watching the show Ultimate Fighter with my brother. I love the show. I have never watched an MMA fight until now. I was expecting most, if not all, of the guys on this show to be really macho and tough men. This couldn't be farther from the truth. Of all the guys that the audience has gotten to get to know have all been huge softies.
Pictured: Giant Cuddle Buddies

One man stated crying after he won a fight because he missed his little girl. He wanted her picture in his corner while he fought because seeing her picture would help him to concentrate. When he stated to cry, to quote me exactly, "DAWWWWW!" Even the coaches are incredibly sweet. Brock Lesnar and Junior dos Santos, the two coaches, are both extremely nice. If the first episode Myles Jury tore his ACL. This meant he had to leave the show and nurse his injured knee. When he got the news Lesnar was so nice about the whole thing. It is hard to describe without you watching the show. I recommend this show to almost anyone.

Now I officially have a thing for MMA fighters. I find them adorable.

Can I Be You

So last night I was with my brother he was re-watching Tron Legacy just for the audio highlights. I watched a little of it with him. At the end under the “Thanks To” part of the credits it thanks the people in “Hall H of Comic Con 2010.”

My brother was there and I knew that it had them thanked before, but I didn’t know why they thanked those people. Paul said they did the crowed chants and sounds during the games scenes. This is what my face looked like.
The moral of the story is that nerds get to do awesome shit.
My main problem with the movie, beside the writing, is the "programs." I put the word in quotes because they don't really act like programs because they have emotions and go clubbing and drink and love. They are more human than I think should be allowed. I think this mainly because the ISOs were supposed to be a big deal because they were programs but also human. Because the regular programs are so human-like the ISOs aren't that special anymore. To me the movie was okay.

Users

As I have stated previously in a previous post. (I used previous and previously and post because I love alliteration)

As I was saying, like I have said before. I do not like annoying fandoms. I am going to say, just to make this more understandable, that the people that love tumblr are in the tumblr fandom. They are intensely overprotective, (like fans) they are creepily obsessed, (like fans) and bug the shit out of me (like fans). I am going to say this again, but I am a part of many fandoms. But, unlike the people that annoy me, I do not hate people that don't like that certain movie, show, book, site, etc.

This is how my friends look at me when I mention tumblr.
My problem with the tumblr fandom is that they don't like new people introduced to tumblr. They like to treat the site like a secret club. I don't understand why. I believe because it makes them feel superior because they are a part of something that no one else even knows about.

I also have issues with the actual site, but I shall save those for another post. Here is my tumblr. I put it there as a little rebellion from the tumblr gestapo.

This is a little note after I wrote the original draft:
My friends IRL told me the people in our group that got pissed at me for telling people about tumblr were wrong.

Who Gave Them That Power

I remember being outraged when the Burqa ban in France was passed in 2010, but just now as the ban is becoming effective I have been thinking about how this is just plain infuriating.

I am personally not religious at all. In fact I do not believe in a god. But I will respect people that believe differently. I will, if I know they will not get too upset, talk about what they believe and why. I will also say why I see that as false. Even though I don't believe anything about their religion I will fight for their right to practice it. This includes wearing a burqa whether they wear it as a religious or cultural thing.

They law passed in France is officially called, 'the bill to forbid concealing one's face in public.' It refers neither to Islam nor to veils. Officials insist the law against face-covering is not discriminatory because it would apply to everyone, not just Muslims. Yet they cite a host of exceptions, including motorcycle helmets, or masks for health reasons, fencing, skiing or carnivals. They say no face coverings, yet they say you may wear one at a carnival. I fail to see how a lion mask is any different than a veil or burqa. They both cover the face for emotional reasons.

This ban greatly disturbs me. There is already a lot of hate and distrust for the Muslim faith, and when governments nurture this hated bad things can happen.

Teaching

I never had thought that teaching requires a lot of stress except for dealing with children all day. I knew that the teacher had to answer to a few superiors at the school, but it never occurred to me that teachers sometimes just can't handle the kids and their superiors. Today during my last class while we were taking a vocabulary test my teacher just started to cry. We were concerned, of course, but I thought it was going to be something that had to do with her family, not school. When we asked her if she was okay she replied by saying, "It's that time of the year, ya know?" I was taken off guard by this answer to be honest. I thought that for teachers the end of the year is when things were winding down, much like it goes for students.

I would like to thank all the teachers I have ever had because they teach in private schools. I know public schools pay more than private schools and have better benefits. Not only did they teach at a private school, but they could be using their masters and doctorates for practically anything they wanted. Thank your teachers and be kind to them. They gotta put up with a lot of pretentious squirts just like us every day.
